Service provides “State of the Art” RFID timing
technology from Ipico Sports. Our Dual Frequency RFID Sportag
overcomes the limitations experienced by conventional Reader-Talk-First
sport timing systems. By combining two technologies—Dual
Frequency (DF ) and the IP-X RFID interface with passive tags
we are able to achieve unmatched performance. Our readers
can read up to 120 Sportags simultaneously. This gives you

With the use of Ipico
Sports Sportag Timing Systems Runner’s Edge provides
you a “chip” timing system that has been used at
some of the world’s largest races. Most notably the 2007
BolderBOULDER 10K (51,000 participants) and the 2008 BolderBOULDER
10K (54,000 participants).
1. Ipico Sports Sportag (chip)
Finish timing for fast accurate results (Gun to Chip or
Chip to Chip)
2. All Sportags included and supplied with instructions
for runner packets
3. Complete Chute and Corral setup at finish line
4. Results Kiosk - Finishers can look up their time within
1 minute after finishing (To be added later)
5. Results Center – Posting banner for taping preliminary
results up for finisher viewing
6. Medium Timing Clock posted at finish line, reads up to
99:59.
7.Start Pistol ($5.00 rental)
8. Bull Horn/Mega Phone ($5.00 rental)
9. Printed results reports at various times throughout race
and final report at completion of race
10. Electronic results reports (HTML and/or Excel) for use
on your own website or send to other websites
11. Listing of event on MRTS website Event Calendar
12. Post results on MRTS and send to Arkansasrunner.com
